Since Miranda’s broken engagement with her high school sweetheart, she hasn’t been able to move forward with her life. She agrees to house-sit for her cousin, Violet, who’s overseas on a military assignment.

While house-sitting at Dauphin Island, Alabama, Miranda meets JD, a veteran, who’s focused on his new job as a civilian. As they spend time together, their attraction grows. However, Miranda doesn’t want a long-distant relationship.
